Analog Library Experience

Moving Sidewalk curated two libraries for Anthropic’s team-building off-site retreat: one focused on culture and social movements, the other on science and research. Each library contained over 1,000 unique titles almost entirely sourced from independent presses and bookstores, as well as custom built focal-point shelving. The two spaces were visually influenced by the genres they held, and included a cassette listening station, a zine library, and bespoke stationery. Up and Up brought on Moving Sidewalk for our unique perspective in creating analog experiences that center community. In a time when so many relationships are screen-based, this activation provided a necessary sanctuary for connecting.
